Elda's Story

I was born and raised in Kukës, Albania, and came to the United States with a deep belief in opportunity, hard work and service. After earning my law degree in 2007 and a master’s in criminal justice and law enforcement administration, I later completed my LL.M. at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in New York. My legal training and professional experience span corporate, regulatory, law enforcement and international legal work, giving me a strong foundation in accountability, structure and responsible leadership.

Throughout my professional career, I have worked in government, legal and corporate settings, gaining experience in regulatory compliance and organizational oversight. I have also volunteered in health and wellness initiatives and supported programs focused on women’s advocacy and public service.

My husband and I chose Keller intentionally for its strong neighborhoods, safe streets and family centered values. We chose Keller as the place to build our life, raise our daughter and invest in small businesses. We have created local jobs, supported the local economy and actively contributed to community initiatives focused on  education, youth and seniors. We have continuously supported teachers, health related causes, students, seniors and other family-centered causes in town and beyond.

Keller is not just where I live. It is where I have invested my time, resources and future. I am an active member of the Keller Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Greater Keller, Rotary International of Keller, the Greater Keller Women’s Group and the Southlake Women’s Group. I have also been involved with the Southlake Chamber of Commerce. Through these organizations, I have built meaningful relationships across our business, civic and nonprofit communities. Keller is at an important moment in its growth. As the DFW region continues to expand, thoughtful and disciplined leadership is essential to ensure that growth strengthens our city rather than overwhelm it. I believe now is the right time to step forward and help raise the standard of governance, protecting our neighborhoods, prioritizing infrastructure, and ensuring responsible long-term planning responsibilities.

My commitment is simple: to elevate the standard of governance while protecting Keller’s character.
