Protecting Keller’s Charm through Responsible Growth: Keller is surrounded by rapid growth, and as a city we must be thoughtful and strategic about how we grow. Development should enhance our community, not change the character that makes Keller such a special place to live. By planning responsibly, we can improve quality of life, support local businesses, and protect the charm and safety that make Keller one of the best cities in our region.
-
Support Our First Responders: Our First Responders put their lives on the line for us every day. We owe it to them to provide them with the best equipment and compensation for keeping our community safe. I support fully staffing police and fire departments, including school resource officers. As a lawyer with a law enforcement background, funding the departments that respond to crises is a compromise we can't afford in a quality city like Keller.
-
Support Local Business: As a small business owner, I understand firsthand how regulations, permitting, and city processes directly impact success. Keller’s small-town character depends on strong local businesses. That means streamlining processes, maintaining predictable policies, and ensuring city decisions help businesses thrive and not create unnecessary barriers. When local businesses succeed, our tax base strengthens, property values remain stable, and our community stays vibrant.
-
Transparent and Open Leadership: Transparency should be measurable, not just promised. I support Keller pursuing objective standards such as the Texas State Comptroller's Transparency Stars, which recognize cities that exceed financial reporting requirements and make information clear and accessible to residents. Residents deserve open communication, easy access to financial information, and leadership committed to accountability and responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars.
-
Fiscal Responsibility: In government, just like in business, you must be able to balance budgets and remain financially fit. In Keller we have so many amazing programs that include parks and other city provided services that make where we live so desirable and we must adequately fund those programs and environments. I am going to support a budget with No-New-Revenue tax rates.
-
Maintain Infrastructure: The city of Keller enjoys the luxury of good roads, trails, and parks. Ensuring that the city stays on top of the infrastructure is a priority that we can’t lose sight of as it makes our quality of life higher than other surrounding the city.
-
Elevating the Overall Experience: As a constituent and a restaurant owner I have felt the need of the community to have more elevated dining and shopping experiences that are lacking in the city currently. Part of responsible growth is ensuring that we are adding the right businesses that there is a need and desire for in the city.
-
Family Friendly City: The city of Keller has so many attractive qualities that make it a desirable place for families. We want to ensure any growth within the city respects the existing neighborhoods and keeps the quality of the neighborhoods high.
